The EAP900H is a high-powered Dual band N900 Indoor Ceiling Mount Access Point for hotels, resorts, hospitals, office buildings, universities, or other multi-building campus environments or large homes that need to extend and expand an existing network wirelessly. The EAP900H supports large file transfers and HD media streaming, as well as PMKSA support that ensures seamless handovers of a client device’s active sessions from one EAP900H access point to another to maintain a reliable connection to the network so hotel guests, patrons, employees, doctors, staff and others can maintain constant connection and watch video or transfer files without interruption no matter where they roam within a large, multi-story facility.

The EAP900H is an ideal solution for expanding an existing network, delivering wireless speeds up to 450 Mbps on each frequency band and featuring a Gigabit port to offer greater bandwidth capacity and faster data transfers throughout the network while drawing up to 25 watts of power. Featuring an aesthetic low-profile smoke detector design, the EAP900H mounts easily on a ceiling and unobtrusively blends in with other common building infrastructure appliances. The combination of high transmit RF power and an internal MIMO antenna array for enhanced receive sensitivity extends wireless coverage and enhances connectivity to client devices such as wireless laptops, tablets and smartphones, in areas where connections have previously been challenging or non-existent.. This Dual band Wireless N900 Access Point enables companies to connect to more employees, guests, staff or students who transfer large files within the network or use other bandwidth intensive applications like streaming HD video.

Band Steering

Automatically detects 5 GHz-capable clients and pushes them to the 5 GHz band to relieve network congestion and maintain optimal data traffic flow for both bands.

SSID-to-VLAN Tagging

Can be configured to broadcast up to eight (8) SSIDs (4 SSIDs per frequency band). Each SSID can be tagged to a specified company network VLAN for different user access based on established access rights.

802.3at PoE Compatible for use with 802.3at-CAPABLE PoE switches or injectors only Supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3at) and allows deployment in areas where power outlets are not available. The EAP900H draws 25 watts of power.
